August in Houston is no joke, and Sydnee and Tyler’s engagement session at Mercer Botanic Gardens on August 10th, 2025 was proof of that. The sun was bright, the heat was very real, and yet somehow the entire afternoon felt like stepping straight into a romance novel. These two showed up ready to have fun, embrace the warmth, and celebrate the sweetest season of their lives, and the photos truly radiate their joy.
I actually met Sydnee and Tyler months ago while out dancing, and when Sydnee messaged me asking if I’d capture their engagement photos, I swear I squealed. Getting to document couples who already feel like friends makes these sessions that much more meaningful.

Sydnee is an absolute shining star. She is joyful, warm, radiant, and full of life. And Tyler is the kind of partner who allows her to shine even brighter. The way he looks at her, encourages her, and celebrates her was such a gift to photograph. Their chemistry is effortless, playful, and deeply rooted in friendship.
